“He was diagnosed with ALS in 2006 and won his battle on March 2, 2013. He is greatly missed but will always live on. He was my biggest fan and I know he was with me from start to finish of this race as I beat my DC time by 6 minutes 38 seconds (only 3 weeks ago).
