Steve Landry
Steve Landry has worked for The New Orleans Saints equipment team for nearly 16 years. He was diagnosed with ALS in 2010. You can still see him down on the sidelines at the games in his power scooter, smiling and helping the players as they need it.
He and his support team inspire Team Gleason. We got to meet some of his family, Katie and Rita at the ALS walk in October and Steve gets to visit with him at the games and at the facility.
The Landry family reached out to Team Gleason for financial assistance with their new van modifications from Crescent Vans. With the help of the supporters of The Gleason Initiative Foundation we were able to pay for the hand controls, accelerator brake guards, ball grip mounted on right side, sure switch, park brake extension, and B&D six way seatbase.
